I am extremely pleased with the double bathroom renovation by Paul and his company. He took what was an outdated 90s bathroom and brought it into the 21st century with new vanities, fixtures and flooring. Excellent Renovation Work!
We recently had our laundry room renovated by PD Renovations, and we couldn’t be happier with the result! The entire project was handled with professionalism and completed in a very timely manner. The team (special thanks to Paul) was efficient, respectful, and paid great attention to detail. On top of that, the pricing was very reasonable for the quality of work delivered. We recently moved to Cambridge and hired PD Home Renovations, led by Paul, to finish our full basement and take on a few other projects around the house. From the very beginning, Paul was thorough, accommodating, and extremely detail-oriented. He took the time to walk us through every aspect of the planning stage and made sure we were comfortable every step of the way.

Despite having other jobs on the go, Paul maintained a personalized and prompt approach. We never felt rushed, he was always communicative and transparent, flagging any areas of concern as they came up. The project was completed right on time at the 8-week mark, and we couldn’t be happier with the results. The basement looks fantastic, and the fit and finish are top-notch.

What really stood out was Paul’s professionalism and organization—his quoting process and regular updates made the renovation experience far less stressful. I would have loved to give this company a full 5/5 stars, as the craftsmanship was excellent, the team was polite and tidy, and working with Paul was a very positive experience. He was clear, communicative, and made sure I understood my options and the overall process before any work began. He respected my preferences and gave realistic timelines based on the scope.

That said, the execution of the project left me a bit frustrated. What should have been a straightforward bathroom job took longer than expected due to how the work was scheduled. Instead of dedicating one or two full days to complete the project, it was spread over random days, with one trade working for a few hours and then another coming the next day for a short visit. This stretched out what could’ve been a 1–2 day job into a more drawn-out process.

The biggest issue was that the tiler accidentally tiled over the shower head area, requiring them to return, break the tile, and redo part of the work. Mistakes happen, but for a team that specializes in bathrooms, overlooking a basic feature like a shower head felt careless. When the issue was discovered, the response from the crew was laughter—not a huge deal, but as the homeowner dealing with the extra time and disruption, it didn’t sit well with me.

Despite these hiccups, I do believe they know what they’re doing and that my experience may have been a one-off. The end result looks great, and they left everything clean and well-finished. Paul and his team did a great job turning my practically useless mudroom into a functional walk-in panty/bar. His team was quick to react to an unforeseen utility that was exposed after the closet demolition. Within a few hours they had a cost effective solution that worked for us!
